We chose to have our wedding here at The Verandah, taking our 15 month old baby and our close family with us. We found the staff that planned our wedding to be very friendly and helpful, making our wedding very personal to us with our choices of location, flower colours, times etc. Some of our extras (outside of our included packge) came at quite a high cost though! Our room was fantastic. Very clean and spacious, with a big plasma tv, huge bath and an even bigger bed! Everything worked fine and was well maintained, with fresh flowers placed in the bathroom on our arrival.
The fridge and microwave were very handy to store and heat milk and food for our baby (which we took from the restaurant without a problem). We were overlooking the main beach and very close to the pool and all bar /restaurant areas.
We found the restaurants to be very nice with a choice of buffet, waiter service or fine dining. All with similar food, which we found to be quite repetitive by the end of the two weeks! Overall, we found this to be a really lovely resort, so clean and tidy with such an effort put into maintaining the gardens, a brilliant holiday for those with or without children.
